Did You Know?[]

Trivia[]

  • In the basement, when Doug starts yelling at Arthur, Arthur begins to walk away and out of the house. We then see Arthur on the sidewalk outside while Doug continues to yell. Doug then comes running to Arthur and they make up. This is a homage to a scene in the film Rocky (1976), when Rocky starts yelling at Mickey and the same thing occurs.

Connections[]

References
  • Rocky (1976 movie) - Doug has an argument with Arthur. Then he chases after Arthur outside. Shakes his hand like Rocky did.
  • The Bad News Bears Go to Japan (1978 movie) - Doug labeled a pornographic VHS tape "The Bad News Bears Go to Japan" so Carrie would ignore it.
  • Jake and the Fatman(TV series) - Doug had to act out Jake and the Fatman.

Goofs[]

Miscellaneous

Carrie told Doug that they were going to Kelly and Deacon's for Game night. Doug said there were no games on TV that night and then Carrie said they were going for board games. Arthur comes in and tells Doug he has tickets to the Knicks game for the night. Well how could Arthur have tickets to the game if there were no games on that night? Although I guess that is the joke although Doug fell for it.
