Concetta Tomei (born December 30, 1945) guest starred as Joyce Robbins, a client whom Carrie tries to impress while getting Spence to pose as her husband, this after Doug, who was at the Mets game with Deacon, had accidentally bumped into her, spilling some mayo from his hot dog on her suit in the episode of The King of Queens titled "Catching Hell" in Season 7 (#20).

A seasoned theatre, film and television character actress, Concetta is perhaps best known for her roles as Major Lila Garreau on the ABC-TV series China Beach (1988–1991) and as Lynda Hansen on the NBC-TV series Providence (1999–2002).

In 1987, she appeared in the series Max Headroom, along with Matt Frewer, Rosalind Chao, George Coe, Andreas Katsulas, W. Morgan Sheppard, and the late Charles Rocket.

From 1997-2011, Tomei played guest roles on TV shows, such as 7th Heaven, Touched by an Angel, Second Time Around, Weeds, Numb3rs, Kitchen Confidential, The Closer, Cold Case, Ghost Whisperer, Nip/Tuck, Rubicon, Necessary Roughness, and Star Trek Voyager.[1]

In 2017, she appeared in an episode of The Mick titled "The Grandparents", as Tippy Pemberton, the twisted, abusive grandmother of Sabrina, Chip and Ben.[1]
