Constance Zimmer (born October 11, 1970) makes a guest appearance as Jenny, Carrie's co-worker, whom she sets up with Spence in the a BBQ in the Heffernan's backyard in the Season 1 episode of The King of Queens titled "Fixer Upper". She is well recognized for her role as Dana Gordon in HBO's Entourage and as She also starred on NBC's short-lived series Love Bites. She currently stars in the Netflix Original Series House of Cards.
Early life and careerEdit
A native of Seattle, Washington, Zimmer also spent much of her childhood in Santa Monica and Newport Beach and decided to pursue a career in acting after she fell in love with the craft as a high school student. Once out of high school, Zimmer was accepted at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, and began appearing in local theater. She was the recipient of a "Best Actress" Dramalogue Award, for one of her first stage appearances in "Catholic School Girls."
After paying her dues in a number of notable commercial spots including being the "Rite Aid" girl for a year and also the unrecognizable daughter in the plastic "Duracell" commercials, she booked her first TV guest- starring roles on the hit shows "Seinfeld" and "Ellen." Working steadily ever since, Zimmer has appeared in guest roles on numerous TV shows as "Royal Pains," Cupid, Out of Practice, Pushing Daisies, Jake in Progress, NYPD Blue Philly, FOX-TV's The X-Files, "Gideon's Crossing", NBC-TV's Providence, and CBS's Chicago Hope to name a few. She has also had recurring and regular roles on Boston Legal, where she played the part of lawyer Claire Simms, In Justice, Entourage, Good Morning, Miami, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Joan of Arcadia, and The Fighting Fitzgeralds.
