Fresh Brood was the 12th episode of Season 8 of The King of Queens, also the 183rd overall episode of the series. Co-written by Michelle Nader and Rock Reuben, the episode, directed by Rob Schiller, was first aired on CBS-TV on January 6, 2006.
Synopsis[]
To persuade Carrie to have a baby, Doug borrows an infant whom Danny is supposed to be taking care of to show Carrie what a good father he would be.
Storyline[]
Danny is babysitting the baby of his ex-girlfriend and doesn't want Doug to hold her. Doug tells Carrie he wants a baby to show off to Danny and Carrie tells him she doesn't want a child with him because he's irresponsible. Doug borrows Danny's baby to prove he can be responsible. Meanwhile Arthur's trying to become Customer of the Month of the coffee shop he frequents every day.

- Danny is at a gaming table at a casino and is talking on his cell phone. Cell phone use is not allowed at gaming tables.

- All of the cups at the Java House are labeled Au Bon Pain or Dunkin Donuts.
