Hi-Def Jam was the 13th episode of Season 3 of The King of Queens, also the 63rd overall episode in the series. Co-written by David Bickel and Ilana Wernick, the episode, directed by Rob Schiller, was first aired on CBS-TV on January 29, 2001.

Synopsis[]

In order to watch the upcoming Super Bowl on a high-definition television, Doug hatches a plan to have his sister Stephanie (Ricki Lake) date Carrie's wealthy boss (Alex Skuby).

Storyline[]

Doug delivers a package to a mom and sees that she has an HDTV. With the Superbowl coming up, he can't stand looking at his own TV. Doug later finds out that Carrie's boss has HDTV. He asks her if she will invite her boss to Doug's poker game so he can try to watch the Superbowl at her boss' place.
