Home Cheapo was the seventh episode of Season 9 of The King of Queens, also the 201st overall series episode. Co-written by Liz Astrof Aronauer and Owen Ellickson, the episode, which was directed by Rob Schiller, originally aired on CBS-TV on April 9, 2007.
Synopsis[]
When Deacon and Kelly buy a vacation home, Carrie is upset because they could have easily afforded it, but they were too cheap.
Storyline[]
Carrie is upset when she learns that Deacon and Kelly bought a vacation house. She believes they were able to afford it because they are cheap and freeload off of her and Doug. Elsewhere, Arthur gives job-hunting tips to Spence.

- When Arthur says he doesn't like Spence's name on the resume, he puts his hands on his hips. In the next shot they are clasped in front of his chest.
- In the mock interview, when Spence starts to explain why he'd be an asset, Arthur raises his head twice.
- In the restaurant, when Doug pushes the check toward Arthur, Arthur looks down at it. In the next shot, he looks straight ahead.
- Factual errors
- Arthur's new employer checks out his resume, only to find no one has heard of him. They also say the Social Security Number he gave was the Gamblers Hotline. SS numbers are 9 digits, phone numbers are 10 digits.
