Abot Joyce[]

In the Season 7 episode "Catching Hell", Spence is enlisted by Carrie to try to impress a wealthy, important client with whom Carrie is trying to land a job, Joyce Robbins, by getting him to pretend that Spence is her husband, as Joyce invites she and Spence up to the expensive upper VIP loge section of Shea Stadium, as she's impressed by Spence's knowledge of fine art, fine wine and Civil War history, as she then invites him to go down to see the inside of her limo while Carrie is tuned away,. When they return just minutes later, Spence is embarrassed by the experience, but admits that he was impressed by being inside of her limo, as they apparently had a brief sex encounter inside the limo.

All of this happened after she got accidentally bumped into by Doug, who was with Deacon catching in the Mets game, who had nearby seats in the lower level box section, as he had splilled some mayo and mustard from his hot dog on to her business suit while she was on her cell phone, and they were returning to their seats from the nearby refreshment area, as the two got into a heated argument, where he managed to offend her.

Not knownig that Carrie's husband Doug is really the guy who bumped into her moments earlier, Joyce later tells Carrie about it in saying to her "who puts mayo on a hot dog!?" as she then says to Carrie "I could've killed that fat nut!".

When Joyce recognizes Doug and Deacon, who were getting ejected from the stadium by police, appear on the stadium monitor, Carrie, embarrased and reaizing her rouse in getting Spence to pose as Doug is up, simply says to her "I'm just gonna grab my purse and go!".
