Missing Links was the 17th episode of Season 4 of The King of Queens, also thhe 92nd overall episode in the series. Written by Michael J. Weithorn, the episode, directed by Rob Schiller, was first aired on CBS-TV on March 4, 2002.

Synopsis[]

Carrie doesn't like the girl Deacon brings to her company's golf outing. Meanwhile, he has Holly care for the kids, oblivious she has a crush on him.

Storyline[]

Carrie's work has an annual golf trip, but Doug and Carrie used to always take Deacon and Kelly. Now that Deacon and Kelly have split up, Doug and Carrie have to try to find another couple to invite to the golf trip before Deacon meets a woman named Leslie (Angelle Brooks) and now he can also go on the trip, where he bring along Leslie, too. Carrie meets Leslie and has a hard time clicking with her, but Doug, however, immediately clicks with her and her boistrous laugh. Meanwhile, Holly agrees to watch Deacon's kids while is on the golf trip with Doug and Carrie, but she also has to bring Arthur along, too.

  • Note: Both Patton Oswalt (Spence) and Gary Valentine (Danny) are credited, but are absent from the episode.
  • While Arthur plays with army figures with Deacon's son Major, he makes a reference to one figure being named O'Shannon. Arthur also talked about O'Shannon having not lived through the war in the Season 1 episode "Head First" (#6) while hanging out at Cooper's with the guys.
