Party Favor is the 13th episode of Season 2 of The King of Queens, also the 38th overall series episode. Written as a teleplay by cast members Kevin James and Gary Valentine, the episode, which was directed by Rock Reuben, originally aired on CBS-TV on January 10, 2000.
Synopsis[]
When Danny reveals he is getting married, Doug gets stuck being the best man at the last second, and must throw Danny a bachelor party. Almost nobody shows, which makes a bad day for Danny.
Storyline[]
Doug's cousin Danny is getting married, but he doesn't have a best man. Carrie volunteers Doug as the best man. So now, Doug is on the hook, and worries about giving the congrats speech and has to set up a bachelor party. Sadly, Danny, outsides of Doug, doesn't have too many friends, so the party, has many empty seats, and to top it off the stripper isn't good either!

- This is the first episode of the year 2000.
- This episode is a partial crossover with Everybody Loves Raymond, as Ray Barone's friend, Gianni, appears at Danny's bachelor party. He supposedly works with Danny.
- The first stripper Doug wants, Tiffany Towers, is a real life stripper, porn star and big-bust adult model.
- The character of Emil was played by Bas Ruten who is now a series regular on Kevin James' sitcom 'Kevin Can Wait.'
- Doug says a tuxedo makes him look like a limo driver. He would later on get a second job as a limo driver in the season 3 episode, Pregnant Pause Part 2.
- Jon Manfrellotti stars in this episode as his Everybody Loves Raymond character, Gianni. He would later appear again but as a different character, Ed, in the Season 7 episode "Black List".
