Santa Claustrophobia was the 11th episode of the Season 6 of The King of Queens, also the 136th overall episode in the series. Written by Owen Ellickson, the episode, directed by Rob Schiller, was first aired on CBS-TV on December 17, 2003.
Synopsis[]
Carrie gets a temp job at IPS, and Doug feels she's around him all the time. Meanwhile, Arthur wants a family Christmas photo and will have anybody in it with him.
Storyline[]
It's Christmas and Arthur wants to have a Christmas card sent out with a photo of him and a few close ones, but he is having trouble finding someone to take a picture with. Carrie begins to feel extremely bored because she still has no job, but when she hears that there is an opening at Doug's IPS job she decides to try it out. When she tells Doug, he doesn't feel comfortable with the idea of Carrie on his turf.

- Revealing mistakes
- The shots of the Heffernan house show snow on the roof and Christmas lights along the eaves, yet the tree still has leaves. It would be barren during this time of year.
- At the end of the episode, as Arthur places the Santa hat on Doug while sleeping, the white ball is positioned on the right side of his head, but when he and Carrie sit up from being startled, the hat is clearly well placed on his head, and the white ball is now on the left side of him.
