Trivia/Notes[]
- Note: Patton Oswalt, Larry Romano and Victor Williams all are credited, but do not appear in the episode.
- Carrie asks Doug if he knows who was President of the United States when Arthur was born. The answer is Calvin Coolidge, who was in fact also POTUS at the time of Jerry Stiller's birth.
- One of the guests (played by Orson Bean) at Arthur's surprise birthday party is accused of sleeping with another guest's wife. 5.25 years later on fellow CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men (2003), Orson Bean plays a character who accuses title character Charlie Harper of sleeping with his wife.
Goofs[]
- Continuity
When Doug takes Arthur to the buffet, when they are sitting at the table, you can see that the cup on the table constantly switches sides and changes from having a plate under it to no plate.
- Crew or equipment visible
As Arthur finishes humming the happy birthday song, he starts walking out of the living room. You can see the shadow of the boom mic streak across the upper right corner in the kitchen.
- Revealing mistakes
When Carrie pulls in the driveway with Arthur, she never puts the car in park, she just turns off the ignition.
