Train Wreck was the 20th episode of Season 1 of The King of Queens, also the 20th overall series episode. Prepared for TV as a teleplay penned by Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith, who also worked on the story with Ira Fritz and Neal Howard, the episode, which was directed by Rob Schiller, originally aired on CBS-TV on March 15, 1999.
Synopsis[]
Doug doesn't like that Carrie isn't jealous when Doug's new trainee is a very pretty girl. Meanwhile, Arthur has his own millennium problem...with a tombstone.
Storyline[]
Doug is upset when his new trainee doesn't make Carrie jealous; Meanwhile, Arthur must deal with his purchase of his tombstone in advance and changing the first two numbers of his death year from 19 to 20.

- Spoilers
- The beagle adopted from their neighbors, The Sacksky's makes an appearance, on the couch, with Doug & Carrie, at the beginning of the episode. Apparently now living with them. Eventually, in future episodes, the pet beagle is completely written out of the series. And, point in fact, adopting a pet, to attain popularity in their neighborhood, becomes the theme of an even future episode.
Goofs[]
- Character error
- When Doug is in the UPS truck with his trainee Julie he tells her that the "sign-y thing" is a DICAD board. It is actually called a DIAD board.
- Plot holes
- Arthur gets into an argument with the cemetery about his grave marker, so he brings it home. It is doubtful he could carry it, as he's elderly and not strong.
- In the final scene in the truck, the street sign clearly says Culver City
