Where's Poppa? was the 23rd episode of Season 1 of The King of Queens, also the 23rd overall series episode. Co-written as a teleplay by Kevin James, Rock Rueben and Gary Valentine from a storyco-written by Cathy Yuspa, Josh Goldsmith and David Bickel, the episode, which was directed by Rob Schiller, originally aired on CBS-TV on May 3, 1999. Occasionally, TV guides identify this episode as "Hit by a foul ball, Doug ends up at Dr. Becker's and makes a friend (Bill Cosby). Apparently, this description of an episode is an error, because no such episode exists. It shows Ted Danson and Bill Cosby in that particular episode.
Synopsis[]
Doug and Carrie send Arthur off to work at cousin Danny's pizza restaurant.
Storyline[]
Doug and Carrie try desperately to ship Arthur off to friends for the weekend so they can enjoy some intimate time together, but no one's eager to take him. Doug finally manages to convince cousin Danny (Gary Valentine, in his series debut) to take Arthur for the weekend to work in his pizza parlor.

Arthur is working at Danny's pizzeria, and a customer orders a slice with mushrooms. Arthur takes it from the display case and hands it to him. He doesn't even put it in the oven.
