White Collar is the 18th episode of Season 1 of The King of Queens, also the 17th overall series episode. Co-written by Dan E. Fesman, Harry Victor and Tony Sheehan, the episode, which was directed by Rob Schiller, originally aired on CBS-TV on February 22, 1999.
Synopsis[]
Doug gets a promotion. Carrie is thrilled with this, Doug however doesn't like the job.
Storyline[]
Doug begins to miss being behind the wheel of his truck when he is promoted after the death of his shift supervisor.

- When Doug is working at his desk in the supervisor's office, the blackboard behind him has a list of drivers that includes the name "Knipfing" which is Kevin James' real surname.
- During his dream sequence, Doug (Kevin James) is delivering packages in Los Angeles (most probably Burbank) complete with palm trees, in the background.
- On the white board behind Doug's desk is a list of drivers. One of them is Rutten. Bas Rutten is a former MMA champion, and is one of the costars on James' new series, Kevin Can Wait.
- The office Doug works in when he's filling in as Shift Supervisor is shown to be the one occupied by 'Louis Perelli,' however, in later episodes, that office is occupied by Supervisor O'Boyle (Sam McMurray), not a Shift Supervisor.
