Trivia/Notes[]
- Note: Patton Oswalt and Larry Romano are both credited, but do not appear in the episode.
- When Doug is playing blackjack, he chastised the gentleman to his right for hitting when he should've stuck, thus "taking" Doug's card. The card was a face card, worth 10. After busting, Doug says he would've had 20 had the other player stuck, meaning Doug's two pocket cards add up to 10 before hitting. However, and this is huge, the first card Doug gets after hitting is clearly an ace. So Doug would've had 21. Instead he hits again, which isn't allowed.
Goofs[]
- Errors in geography
- In the IPS truck, while Doug phones his wife, Deacon is seen drinking an In-N-Out soda, which is only available in California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Utah. This show is supposed to be based in New York, so drinking an In-N-Out soda would imply they are not anywhere near the East Coast.
- Factual errors
- When Doug is playing blackjack, the dealer deals the cards face down to the players and 1 up and 1 down to himself. In Atlantic City, the dealer deals the cards face up to the players. The cards don't have to be hidden from the dealer as their play doesn't depend on what cards you have, they play according to what cards they have.
Scene excerpt from "Wild Cards"[]
